The Geometry of Pain: The 3D Characters

  3D characters

I used the same 3D model for 3 different motion-capture sequences. The difference between them was the color: I used red and blue to separate the movement patterns. It was interesting to see how the selected 3D characters seemed to perform the movements completely without effort, with almost no trace of pain. Yet, knowing the creation prosses of the movement, the 3D models convey a subtle yet striking feeling of movement distortion. It might be to the breakage of the skeleton, but somehow the 3D character reveals the source movement - pain.
